Spring break is right around the corner and I know that anyone that doesn’t like school is excited to leave school and as much as I like school everyone needs a break from school.

A couple of days ago I was with my dad and I saw my baby brother and he was just so cute he was standing up by himself he was walking, falling, then walking again! I wish I had a picture of him right now. He is one years old he can crawl he eats purée and drinks milk when I see him again I just have to take a picture!

So a couple of days ago I went to an abandoned firehouse that has been turned into an Art studio. What I loved about that art studio... was the fact that we got to do pottery, something that I’ve been wanting to do ever since I was seven years old and now four years later I finally get to do just that I got to go and operate a Potter’s Wheel (that was loads of fun) and make an animal out of clay. I made a mouse.

Another boring day ugh I woke up at 7:08 and I had to shower and my gramma must’ve heard me wake up and groan because she said, “BRIANNA GET IN THE SHOWER RIGHT NOW!” “Fine, gramma...”  When I got out of the shower I was sooooo tired I got ready as always for another boring day for PARCC testing (sorry Ms. Choe) I told my gramma, “I’m going to wait in the car!” She responded, “Okay But Don’t touch anything.” “I won’t!” I got into the front seat of our red Corolla or however the heck you spell it I don’t really know but I put on my seatbelt and listened to the radio and TEN MINUTES LATER MY GRAMMA FINALLY COMES OUT MY BROTHER WAS ALREADY IN THE CAR WITH ME BUT IT WAS ALREADY 8:10!!

Yesterday was so hectic I was doing my homework and it was soooo boring!! I remembered that I had to take a shower and I got out of the shower I freaked out and it was too late and I had to go to bed and I have social studies homework that isn’t done...

Once again another PARCC test another boring day at Heritage Middle School but, there’s nothing I can do about that now is there? No I don’t think there is... I mean I could’ve stayed home but my mom would not allowed that. Anyway the reason I’m typing this blog right now yes, the blog that you’re reading is because I finished my PARCC test for today I have another dreadful four days ahead of me full of mints and testing which some people like but I HATE!! Which I know is a strong word but it’s the right word for me :)

Yesterday was my dads birthday and he is now 34 he is the best dad in the world he went to San Diego for work he’s not coming back to Berwyn until Friday. I can’t wait to see him when he comes back!!! But anyway, my brother Nathan went running with my moms friend yesterday. While her and I went to Walgreens to get headphones for my brother and I for PARCC testing which I’m sorry but it’s SOOO BORING!!! After my mom and I got the headphones we went to Super Target where my brother and my moms friend were waiting for us...

So usually, I'm really lazy on the weekends so if you're reading this Ms. Haury this is one of the few times I'll be posting on the weekend. (Especially on a Sunday!) So I wake up and I stay in bed just like, "Ugh I don't want to wake up..." I roll out of bed and I just got back up and went back into bed and went back to sleep and a couple of minutes later I feel my brother Nathan jump on top of me and he is soo heavy I pushed him off of me as I wheezed because I couldn't breathe when I could finally breathe I yelled, "ARE YOU CRAZY NATHAN IT'S 6 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING GO BACK TO SLEEP CRAZY!!!!" as he went back to sleep I had no choice but to go jump on top of him and say, "Karma!! Hahahaha!!" "Fair enough..." He responds as we both go back to sleep....

I was at the Berwyn Recreation department (The Rec) I saw my friend Bella from Freedom Middle School I walked up to her and said "Hey Bella!" She responds, "HEY BRIII!!!" (She screams a lot hahaha) and for no reason at all we started watching the videos that we watched in ELA (thanks Ms.Haury) we watched the short films, "Alma", "OH Deer!" Etc. When my dad picked me up I told him, "Happy early birthday daddy!" (I know I'm really childish) and he said, "Thank you honey."

“Jade have I told you something that nobody knows?” (It was personal so I’m saying that instead sorry) I ask Jade, “No, what is it?” She asks, as I tell her she says, “YOU DID WHAT???!!” She exclaims, “Yeah, sadly I have...” I say sadly. When we get to my locker she asks “Can I tell Sandra?” I told her, “She already knows.” When I told her she was like, “You did what?” I told her, “I thought I told you in 5th grade!”

“Brianna can you go to my volleyball game?” Says Emily, “I don’t know let me call my mom really quick.” I respond, “Mom, can I go to Emily’s volleyball game today... it’s at Freedom.” I say to my mom and she responds,  “Okay but stay together and if you don’t stay together you can’t go anymore! Understood?” Says my mom very strictly I tell her, “Okay we will.” I say as I hang up... “Can you go?” Asks Emily, “Yeah But my mom said we have to stay together.” I say, “Sounds good to me.” Says my friend Belen. “Yeah same here” I hear from my other friend Aliyah E. (or something like that) So as we were walking to freedom we pass by my dad’s house which is a block away from freedom so I tell my friends, “That’s where my dad lives!” Emily responds with, “He lives there with your baby brother right?” “Yeah why o-o-oh right I forgot sorry...” (that story is to be told another day) “Yeah sorry is right!”

my mom says, “Nate, lets go get your haircut.” I blurt out, “CAN I GET A HAIRCUT PLEASEEEEEE?!” “No Brianna only Nathan is gettting a haircut.” Nathan shouts, “YEAH BRIANNA ONLY I GET A HAIRCUT BECAUSE I’M SPECIAL!!” Under my breath I say, “Very special....” So after Nathan gets his haircut my mom says, “Okay lets go to the store.” We pull up to the parking lot of ‘the store’ instead we go inside of a hair salon so I’m thinking, “Why did mom say we were going to the store if we’re inside of a hair salon?” My mom says, “Okay your turn Brianna.” “Wait what I thought just Nathan was getting a haircut.” “Yeah, well about that... I lied.” After my haircut I say, “I didn’t think that my hair would be this short!” “Yeah well who’s the one that wanted their hair cut?” “I did...” “Exactly now lets go home.” At the perfect timing while I’m on my phone texting my friend Rubi he says, “Can I use your phone?” “No Nathan!”

“Wake up Brianna!” Says my mom, “I don’t want to...” I say groggily then I hear my gramma say, “I’ll take the kids to school” (she says it in Spanish though) “Yay!” I say, all of a sudden I here my little brother say, “YAY MORE SLEEP!!” “Not for me anymore...” I say as I get out of bed. When I get out of bed I say, “Do I HAVE to go to school?” My mom suddenly responds with a, “Yes, you do have to go to school.” “But I don’t want to go to school!” My little brother responds with, “Yeah Bri you have to go to school but I don’t!” “Yes you do Nathan..”

I get home from school and as I’m about to enter my house I feel a rush of wind up my back I start shivering so I rush inside as I get inside my mom says, “What happened?” I responded, “Nothing mom, its just cold outside.” “Oh thank goodness.” I eat some goldfish, then I do my homework. (which was math homework) Then I tell my mom, “I’m done with my homework!” “Okay Brianna, get ready we’re going to play basketball.” “Okay mom.”
